Overview Since University I have been a computer contractor, partner in a software services company, and now the owner of my own software/hardware business. I am highly creative, inventive, adaptive, and first and foremost a solutions oriented problem solver. Having done projects using my website and graphics skills for musicians, artists and photography rounds out my extensive experience working with several corporate clients over the years. My interests range from math, physics, business and science to music, writing, anthropology and philosophy. Experience 25+ years of computer programming. 14+ years of website, graphics, database. 14+ years of PC computer building, repairing and software installation. Over 8 years of Network Admin (hardware & software). Operating systems: DOS, Win 3.x, Win 9X, NT, Win 2000, Win XP, Mac OSX, Linux (command line & various GUIs), UNIX.

 

Languages PHP, Perl, Delphi, C++, Visual Basic, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SSI. There are many lesser used languages I learned in University and on my own. My philosophy is quite simple: need me to know a specific language or paradigm? Books, existing code, and internet research + a week or two + two decades of programming experience = new language ready to deploy code.

Minor Philosophy

I have completed all the courses required for the 4 year major in computer science and left the last year of electives to pursue work. Since 1995 I have been active in the software field. When time permits I will finish my last year and acquire my degree.

Major Business Computing

After a year and a half of study in the Business Computing Department I decided the U of M's Computer Science Department was more suited to the depth of studies and range of courses I wished to pursue. In September of 1990 I transferred to the U of M.

I achieved awards for academic excellence (80% or higher) for the following courses:

 

Math (100, 200, 300), Computer Science (all courses offered), Physics 300, Geography, History, Accounting, Typing. I maintained an A average for each year in high school.
